Our Services

O.U.R. offers three kinds of services, and each works differently:

• Therapy: Virtual therapy is provided by Courtney Brown, LCPC (MD), LPC (VA), C-DBT, to clients physically located in Maryland or Virginia at the time of each session. A therapeutic relationship begins only after intake is complete, consent forms are signed, and a treatment agreement is in place. Visiting this site, booking a consultation, or sending a message does not by itself create a therapist-client relationship.

• Consulting: Consulting for therapists, schools, and organizations is not therapy and does not create a therapist-client relationship. Scope, fees, and cancellation terms for consulting are outlined in individual agreements.

​

• Products: Books, journals, and other products are educational and supportive tools. They are not a substitute for professional care.

​

Purchases and Refunds

• Physical products (books, journals, apparel): All sales are final unless an item arrives damaged or defective. Please contact us at support@obstaclesunderrecovery.com within 7 days of delivery for a replacement.

• Digital products (guides, templates, toolkits): Because these are delivered instantly, all sales are final and non-refundable.

​

• Consulting packages: Refund and cancellation terms are outlined in your consulting agreement.

​

• Gift cards: Gift cards may be used for [purchases in the O.U.R. Shop]. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash.

 

Using This Website

By using this site, you agree to:

• Use it for lawful purposes only.

• Not interfere with how the site operates.

• Provide accurate information when submitting forms or making purchases.
